I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It is in a beautiful area that is VERY walkable with lots to do around if you like a relaxed day of shopping and dining. Plenty of secondhand stores with really cool stuff to find and some great coffee shops. The room was comfortable and I got a really great rest. The balcony was nice and overlooked the pool and mountains. It was peaceful. The staff was kind and welcoming, and the breakfast in the morning was a good standard breakfast you expect when staying at the Hampton inn properties. I highly recommend staying here. It is quite nice!

I try to stick to Hampton Inns for their consistency and, of course, the waffles. The Carefree Hampton Inn takes it up another notch. Rooms are the same all over, clean & comfortable. Here, the amenities really shine. They have a beautiful swimming pool with a separate whirlpool. There’s a fire pit with comfortable seating and another patio area. The Inn is dead center in the Town Center of Carefree. Then there’s the staff. The breakfast staff was so helpful and offered to bring us other items. They weren’t hiding in a back room. All the staff made us feel welcome. ||This was our finest experience with a Hampton Inn.

This is by far my favorite place to stay near Phoenix. It has a resort like feel but reasonably priced. The staff here is the best and friendliest. We have stayed at a lot of Hampton Inns but this one out does them all. Spectacular views and great shopping and eating. If I could give it 10 stars, I would.

This hotel is fabulous! Spacious, clean rooms, comfortable beds. The surrounding area looks and feels like a resort, but it's actually the Town Center. The hotel stay was perfect with everything you could want for breakfast. They are surrounded by the most unique shops and restaurants. I want to go back to spend a couple of days visiting the area.

On our trip through Arizona we decided to stop for several days and choose this hotel for 4 nights. I am so happy we did. We have done our fair share of traveling and this was hands down the best hotel experience we have ever had. The room was perfect. Clean, functional, super soft beds and the view from the balcony was top notch. The pool was fantastic. Plenty of places to sit or lay out. Fire pits around the pool area as well. Breakfast buffet with changing items day to day was another highlight. Waffles, scrambled eggs etc. It was all delicious. A bar area that served happy hour beer and wine was perfect to grab a drink before heading out for the evening. The surrounding area is full of shops and many dining options. What a gem of a place to find. Lastly the best part of the experience was the staff. A friendly smile and hello when entering. The staff went above and beyond to make out stay perfect. It wasn't just one employee, it was all of them. Some of the friendliest hotel staff we have ever encountered. What a great solid team! If your coming to the carefree area and need a place to stay give this one a try. You won't regret it.

Very nice quiet area. Great views and breakfast. Good selection in the little pantry store and reasonable prices. I was there on a fully booked weeknight and found out there was a large group of teens staying for a tournament and I heard none of them bc rooms were well insulated. The view from my balcony unbelievable (see attached photo that has no filter). Staff was beyond nice and helpful. Will be staying here in the future and I highly recommend.

I stay at Hilton Hotels 70-80 nights a year. First and foremost, this is a hotel I would stay at over and over and over again. It is right next to the quaintest dining and shopping district - full of art galleries, too. Super clean. Quiet rooms. The free breakfast was GREAT. The decor is beautiful. Literally, they have the nicest gym I've ever seen at ANY hotel. I'm absolutely stunned what a great stay this hotel offers. Right near the renowned Boulders resort that has spectacular views, great hiking, and one of the Top 10 golf courses in AZ. It's 10 miles north of Scottsdale, and definitely worth the extra 15-min drive. Definitely coming back here.
